Proving software integrity

Software and software code is pirated and sold as sections of code or often complete applications. Mostly, authors and coders are unaware that their code has been copied - and if they are there is no way to prove ownership priority. Authors can use the Codel system to register, protect and broadcast ownership of their intellectual property, to warn off would be fraudsters, to prove prior art and to use as evidence if they wish to take action against unauthorised abuse.
